Freida Pinto was born October 1984 in Bombay, India to an affluent Indian family. She is known for her breakthrough role in Slumdog Millionaire. Freida rocketed to fame and made it to #10 on FHM's 100 sexiest women '09. Freida studied at Carmel of St. Joseph School in Malad and completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. After her schooling she took an interest in modeling, working for Elite modeling agency. Interestingly she had little acting experience before her work on Slumdog Millionaire. Freida took acting classes and After six months of auditions, she received a call to audition for Slumdog Millionaire.
Freida auditioned for Danny Boyle and was short-listed and finally selected to star in Slumdog Millionaire. Freida is a lucky young girl who will surely go far in her budding career. Perhaps we will even be lucky enough to see her show some skin. Regarding doing nude scenes, Freida says, “It all depends on the director, what kind of work he’’s done in the past.”
